Curaçao Footprint Foundation organiseert een nieuwe workshop natuurfotografie op Curaçao. Speciaal voor natuurliefhebbers die graag fotograferen met allerlei types digitale camera's!

1. Woensdag 31 oktober. Start workshop (theorie) 18.00-20.30
2. Zaterdag 3 november. In het veld 07.00-10.00
3. Zaterdag 10 november. In het veld 16.00-18.00
4. Woensdag 14 november. Tussensessie theorie 18.00-20.30
5. Zaterdag 24 november. In het veld 16.00-18.00
6. Woensdag 28 november. Eindsessie 18.00-20.30 uur

Colombian Parrot at Jan Thiel
During our hike at the Jan Thiel salt pans, this parrot was spotted. It made a lot of noice when a flock of local parakeets flew by.

At Porto Marie, a small land crab and a kokolishi struggling to get to the beach.

Coming home from Chile, where I saw the Condor, I could not resist taking the camera and see if something was in the air.
The Condor, he was fast!!
The Warawara above my house, is too!
The next morning the little ones were back.
They were all over the Dividivi tree, that is full of seeds.
Later, the Rufous-collared Sparrow came into the house to pick up left overs and to play with its image in the kettle.

Swallow - zwaluw
Just the other day, I was thinking of the swallow. A bird still missing on this blog.
Well, it finally arrived! A barn swallow stranded inside the house. After a while, it found its way to an open window, resting a moment before taking off.
