On Youtube: The dragon cactus (aka pitaya, aka dragon fruit) flowers only bloom once and it occurs overnight.

A new plant I bought - locally called "Skopet" because of the form of the flowers - immediately attracted the Banana-quit. Of course they had to fight each other in stead of taking turns.
